Contact Tom Junker or John Thake about your furniture refinishing, furniture repair, custom made furniture, custom made draperies or reupholstery needs. One of them will come out to your home or office, discuss your project, and then send you a typewritten proposal outlining all of the details. If you elect to proceed with the work specified in the proposal, Tom or John will oversee your project from start to finish.

Tom Junker

Tom grew up in the family business. After working part time at Zollingers thru high school and college Tom joined the family business full time in 1979. His personal dedication to the preservation of old world craftsmanship can only be appreciated when talking to him about the quality of Zollingers work. Providing a quality product at a reasonable price is Tom’s ultimate goal. Restoring fire damaged furniture and transforming houses into homes has made Tom’s work at Zollinger’s very rewarding. He credits his mother and father for creating the foundation of a reputable company with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality craftsmanship.

John began his affiliation with Zollingers as an upholsterer in 1986. Having worked at Loires for 4 years and in upholstery shops all over St. Louis, John achieved his journeyman status in 1980. John joined Zollingers with an interest in sales. Tom's father gave John the opportunity to put his vast knowledge of fabrics and furniture construction to work.
His personal favorites include Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Mid Century Modern.
John can often be found at estate sales and auctions looking for a bargain to refurbish.
