Vladimir Kagan Sofa
Longtime clients came to Zollinger with a special request. They wanted to move their highly valued Vladimir Kagan sofa www.vladimirkagan.com from New York City to St. Louis, but the sofa was literally stuck in the New York apartment. It had been delivered there by means of a crane more than 50 years earlier. Since that time the apartment windows had been changed and the doorway was too small for the twelve foot sofa. The precious sofa had no way out. The couple’s solution was to fly John to New York City for a one-day mission: un-upholster the sofa, divide the frame in half, package it all, and accurately document the process for reassembly in St. Louis.
